New Spanish Language Materials Available on FFB Website

November 17, 2014
November 17, 2014 - The Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) recently updated its website by adding Spanish language translations of some of its resource materials to better serve patients and others interested in learning about retinal diseases.
Those wishing to view the materials in Spanish may click on the link En Espanol in the resources section of the Foundation’s website. The materials provide educational information on retinitis pigmentosa (RP), age-related macular degeneration and Usher syndrome.
Given the shift in demographics in the United States, there is a need to provide information to a diverse audience. FFB is now providing information to a large number of people who speak Spanish and may benefit from information on retinal diseases, treatments and research.
