I would like to call to your attention to an important new opportunity on the FFB website:

On the Home Page of www.fightblindness.org under Resources and Support, there is a new category aptly named My Retina Tracker Registry where you can establish a place for your own secure digital profile. This will be with you as you journey through various appointments, such as gene profiling and counseling, as well as treatments and visits with professionals. The information in the Registry is expected to help researchers and the FFB in their mission to find preventions and cures for retinal degenerative diseases.

Please note that clicking on the Registry will take you to a separate website – and will require you to set up your own username and password to remember each time you want to update your profile. You can also access the Registry directly at www.MyRetinaTracker.org

We are making progress. It may seem slow, but compared with the pace of the last 40 years; we are now on the fast track.  The VisionWalk program throughout the United States have raised over $35 million since 2006 to drive the research to prevent, treat and cure blindness.  What we do here in San Diego makes a real difference in the lives of everyone affected by retinal degenerative diseases because:  A Cure Is In Sight!

As we count down to our next VisionWalk, I am looking forward to meeting many of you again and to making new friends.  I also very much enjoy your Facebook “likes” of our page. It gives us a chance to see you and to have a conversation with you. So…..”like” away…  Or you can give me a call at (858) 277 4576.

Fondly,

Jody
