Message from the President:
Hello! My name is Heather Napolitano. When I began losing my vision, my husband and I were scared and searching everywhere for answers. The sense of community and support we felt upon finding the FFB was indescribable. They lifted our hopes and instilled a fight within us to find a cure.
Chapter Presentation and Events
We want to thank everyone who braved the inclement weather on April 6, 2017 to attend the dinner presentation with Jean Bennett, MD, PhD and Alexander J. Brucker, MD of Scheie Eye Institute. Thanks, of course, to Scheie for their hospitality and for being such gracious hosts!
Join the Philadelphia Chapter at the 11th Annual Philadelphia VisionWalk on Saturday, October 7th at Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia, PA! VisionWalk is a fun, family-friendly 5K walkathon to raise awareness and funds for the work and mission of the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
Help us drive the research to find preventions, treatment, and cures for the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases by signing up your VisionWalk today on the Philadelphia VisionWalk page.

Please help Alex Cohen, Co-Captain of team Blind Melon with this research study he is conducting. This is a five minute survey that can be completed by anyone - visually impaired or not. The questions for this study focus on online accessibility issues. As a "thank you" for your participation, a $2.00 donation will be made to the Foundation Fighting Blindness (please make sure you select this organization). Please contact Alex Cohen at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. Thank you and here is the link: https://drexel.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_abBLThH3nfhmyxv
