VisionWalk Update


Save the date for the 12th Annual Northern Virginia 5K VisionWalk on Sunday, May 7, 2017! We hope you can join us in making this year our most successful one yet!

Location: Cameron Run Regional Park, 4001 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria
Registration begins: 9:00 a.m.
Walk begins: 10:00 a.m.

5/6: Spin Class Fundraiser
Diana Bien and her daughter, 2017 Youth Chair Marina Bien, invite you to join them at Zengo Cycle – Mosaic  District in Fairfax for a fundraiser spin class. 5/7: 12th Annual Northern Virginia VisionWalk
Come out and join the fight against blindness at our 12th Annual VisionWalk at Cameron Run Regional Park (4001 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria) on Sunday, May 7th at 9 a.m.. This fundraiser 5k will take you all around the park as you walk to raise awareness for retinal degenerative disease research. This event has no entry fee - simply bring an open heart, your walking shoes and your friends and your family too! For Sue Downes and the team of eye care professionals at My Eye Dr., supporting the Foundation’s VisionWalk program in Northern Virginia was a completely natural thing to do. The full-service eye care company prides itself in not only delivering high quality products and services, but also serving as many people in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C., community as possible. Raising money for the Foundation Fighting Blindness was a great way to support people with retinal degenerative diseases who are counting on innovative research to save their vision.
