Save the date for the 8th Annual Montgomery County 5K VisionWalk on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Rockville Town Square. We hope you can join us in making this year our most successful one yet!

Registration Begins: 9:00 a.m.
Walk begins: 10:00 a.m.

  • Registration: 4:00 p.m.
  • Program: 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

  • Come socialize and enjoy a complimentary lunch with members of the Montgomery County chapter at the 2017 VisionWalk Kickoff and Chapter Meeting. We will hear from Lee Liberator of Spark Therapeutics speaking about “Genetic Testing for Inherited Retinal Diseases.”

    9/24: 8th Annual Montgomery County VisionWalk
    Come out and join the fight against blindness at our 8th Annual Montgomery County VisionWalk at Rockville Town Square Plaza (30 Maryland Avenue, Rockville) at 9:00AM. This fundraiser 5k will begin at the plaza and will take you around town to raise awareness for retinal degenerative disease research. This event has no entry fee - simply bring an open heart, your walking shoes and your friends and your family too! But they also know that for two of their three sons, these years may have special significance. That’s because their youngest boys, Bobby, 14, and Danny, 12, are slowly losing their eyesight to retinitis pigmentosa.
