6th Annual Triad VisionWalk

We had a fantastic day at our 6th Annual Triad VisionWalk on Saturday, September 19th!  Thanks to each and every one of you for everything you did to make our walk such a success! We brought in over $4,000 on walk day, which pushed us over our goal!!  CONGRATULATIONS!
 
Over 250 walkers enjoyed a beautiful day at UNC Greensboro to celebrate our fundraising efforts and bring us closer to a cure! We had beautiful weather, great food and good times with all our VisionWalk
friends! A special thank you to our Walk Co-Chairs, Karen Kelly and Adam Kensky.

The Triad Chapter is proud to present an exceptional program you won’t want to miss!  Ben Shaberman, Director of Science Communications, has a wealth of scientific knowledge and expertise in degenerative retinal disease. You will have the unique opportunity to tap into Ben’s expertise on various retinal diseases including RP, Stargardt, Usher syndrome and AMD. Bring your family members as he can also address inheritance patterns and vulnerability factors during the personal question and answer session. 

Ben’s discussion will be enhanced by a very special guest, a Patient Ambassador, who will speak from a personal perspective discussing disease progression and maintaining eye health.
