Message from the President:
Dear Friends of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness:
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in our chapter. In an effort to build on the great successes of the VisionWalk fundraiser over the past several years, this chapter was formed in support of the Foundation’s initiatives to increase public awareness in our communities, lead fundraising efforts to help fund research, and to provide information to those affected by retinitis pigmentosa (RP), macular degeneration, Usher syndrome, Stargardt disease and all other retinal degenerative diseases.

When our son, Drew, was eight years old, he was diagnosed with a retinal disease. As with any family that receives a diagnosis like this, we were devastated. I immediately went on-line and started researching everything I could find about retinal diseases. Some of the things I read were not too encouraging. Then I came across a link for the Foundation Fighting Blindness and suddenly we had HOPE.
