Foundation Fighting Blindness

Over ten million Americans are affected by blinding retinal diseases such as macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, and Usher syndrome. Foundation Fighting Blindness is working to find treatments and cures for these devastating diseases. Foundation Fighting Blindness funds leading-edge research in areas such as genetics, gene therapy, transplantation, artificial retinal implants, and pharmaceutical and nutritional therapies.

VisionWalk

Since 2006, VisionWalk has raised over $6 Million to support the mission of the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Over 45 walks are planned for 2009, including the 4th Annual Orange County VisionWalk on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Cal State, Fullerton at the Titan Athletic Complex Practice Fields.
