National Volunteer Week 2011 is April 10 - 16, 2011, in order to avoid conflicts with religious holidays. National Volunteer Week is about working together as a community and a nation to contribute and make a difference. Another goal of National Volunteer Week is to thank the volunteers. Volunteering is a very empowering way to spend your time because you can motivate, encourage, and inspire your peers to contribute to a good cause and give hope to those you are helping. |
