Associated Press—September 15, 2011—University of Iowa awarded $1.6 M vision grant

Researchers at the University of Iowa's visual sciences department have received a five-year, $1.6 million grant from the Foundation Fighting Blindness. The funding will support the Research Center for the Study of Retinal Degeneration, which is part of the UI Institute for Vision Research.
