The students of Baden Elementary School participated in a "mock" VisionWalk on Friday, May 28, 2010 to raise funds for the Foundation Fighting Blindness. The event, which raised $3,000, was organized by Baden sixth grader, Bjorn Brooks, who has a retinal degenerative disease known as retinitis pigmentosa, a vision-robbing condition that has left him legally blind. |
