The Foundation Fighting Blindness presents the third annual San Diego Dining in the Dark at the US Grant Hotel on Thursday, June 10, from 6-9:30pm. Dining in the Dark is a distinctive sensory awareness experience that allows guests to participate in an unforgettable dining adventure into the unfamiliar world of the blind and visually impaired by dining in complete darkness. Guests will enjoy dinner served by visually impaired and blind waiters, while experiencing all tastes, sounds, and textures in absolute darkness. The gala will benefit the Foundation Fighting Blindness’ mission to drive the research that will provide a means for prevention, treatment, and cures for those affected by retinal degenerative diseases. |
