Within the 16-by-8-meter sand courts, the sharks of beach tennis volleyed the balls with intensity.
On the sidelines, players in the queue dug their toes in the sand, sipped on beers and swayed to the tropical music on Siesta Key Beach.
More than 100 athletes from the U.S., Italy and Aruba gathered for the eight-hour Siesta Key Beach Tennis Open on Saturday.
