Megan Mauney was 6 when her parents realized there was something wrong. It was Halloween and while other children ran around gleefully in the dark, the normally adventurous Megan was terrified. The problem, doctors concluded, was that Megan had retinitis pigmentosa, a degenerative disease that causes night blindness and tunnel vision. Read more here: |
