San Antonio’s KENS5 News featured “Battling Blindness One Step at a Time,” a segment promoting the city’s first VisionWalk.



Orange County Dining in the Dark Visionary Award Dinner

March 20, 2009; The Fairmont Hotel in Newport Beach

Visionary Award Honorees:

Rebecca Kammer, O.D., F.A.A.O., Diplomate, Southern California College of Optometry
Ronald Kurtz, M.D., Associate Clinical Professor, University of California, Irvine
David E.I. Pyott, C.B.E., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Allergan, Inc.

Boston Shades of Spring Gala: 20th Anniversary Celebration

March 21, 2009; Fairmont Copley Plaza

This year’s event paid tribute to all the past Gala Chairs including: Christine Anastos, Joel Davis, Lara Gund, Anne Hajjar, Alice Hayen, Barbara Hickey, Karen Hopper, Ellen Moynihan and  Sean Moynihan

The Boston Globe featured a write-up of the dinner on March 22 and again on March 23.
