2012 Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky VisionWalk

Other than a little fall chill, we enjoyed an absolutely perfect day on Saturday, October 6, 2012, welcoming 515 walkers to beautiful Theodore Berry Friendship Park for our 7th Annual VisionWalk. For the third year in a row, our Walk has surpassed its goal, and we are adding on toward the $75,000 milestone. That is an AMAZING achievement for Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky! Thank you to the entire community for making this such a great success.

THANKS TO OUR WALK COMMITTEE

A group of walkers from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky VisionWalkSpecial thanks to our Walk Chairs, Wendy and Steve Achenbach, and Kathleen Pompa; Family Chairs, Sandy, Angela and Barry Feist; Medical Chair, Dr. Daniel Miller from the Cincinnati Eye Institute, Media Chair and Emcee, Paula Toti; Youth Chairs, Tyler Rose Achenbach and Christopher Cupp; Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Chapter President Tim Smith, and the rest of our Walk Committee (Diane Donley, Robin Chadwick, Jennifer Cupp, Pat and Karen O'Callaghan, and Angela Plumlee). Paula Toti did her traditionally great job as our Emcee, as she led us through the stage presentation. Special guest Diane Feldman-Smith from the Delta Gamma Foundation greeted over 80 Delta Gammas in the crowd.

A group of walkers at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky VisionWalkWalkers were treated to visits by Who Dey from the Cincinnati Bengals, Victor E. Viking from Northern Kentucky University, the Blue Blob from Xavier University, professional photographs by Robert Flischel, free massages from Daymar College of Massage Therapy, and walk warm-ups led by Zumba instructor Jimmie Jamison.
