2012 Orange County VisionWalk

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 7th Annual Orange County VisionWalk at Angel Stadium - Anaheim! We had over 500 walkers and 38 fantastic teams participate in this year’s VisionWalk to help Foundation Fighting Blindness raise over $115,000 for critical retinal degenerative disease research! We want to give a special thank you to our Honorary VisionWalk Chair, Toni Gavello, our Family Chairs, The Stevens Family, our Chapter President, Randy Wechter, and the entire Orange County Leadership.Also thank you so much to our sponsors: John & Diane Prewitt Family Foundation, The Andrei Olenicoff Foundation, Abbott Medical Optics, The Gavin R. Stevens Foundation, Allergan Foundation, Glaukos Corporation, Harbor Mesa Lions Club, and the Seal Beach Lions Club. Also, we want to thank our in-kind donors, Bagel’s & Brews, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Daphne’s, Islands, Lions Club. Thank you to our Emcee, David Courtney, for leading our stage presentation and to Anaheim, Mayor Pro Tem, Harry Sidhu, for the wonderful proclamation presenatation. We also could not have had such a wonderful walk day without the support of all of teams, walkers and volunteers! Congratulations to our top five fundraising teams: Bailey’s Big Sisters, Team Diane, Ivantis, Char’s Stars, and AMO. And congratulations to our “Best T-shirt” contest winner – Trevor’s Troop for screaming the loudest! Once again a huge THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS for all of your fantastic efforts and support!
