Celebration for Sight 2012 Luncheon and Card Party Co-chaired by the Theodore and Charlotte Isen, Marilyn Rush and Barbara and Joel Stone The 3rd Annual Celebration for Luncheon and Card Party was held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Boca Rio Country Club in beautiful Boca Raton, Florida. By 11:00 AM, card players were lining up to register and purchase their raffle tickets to try their luck at winning fabulous prizes including handbags, jewelry, gift certificates to local boutiques, and the grand prize of a 4 day/3 night stay at Atlantis Paradise Cove, Bahamas. Boca Rio had an amazing spread for brunch where all participants were able to energize and ready themselves for the festivities of the day. Tim Schoen, Director of Science Research Communications, gave a science update on the Foundation and recent clinical trials, and also answered questions from the crowd. Event Chair Barbara Stone thanked everyone for their support and also for making it such a wonderful event. The card players moved into the card rooms and had breathtaking views of Boca Rio Country Club while playing Social Bridge, Duplicate Bridge, Canasta and Mahjong.
