Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 3rd Annual Utah VisionWalk at Sugar House Park – Salt Lake City! We had over 250 walkers and 22 fantastic teams participate in this year’s VisionWalk to help Foundation Fighting Blindness raise over $31,000 for critical retinal degenerative disease research! We want to give a special thank you to our VisionWalk Co-Chairs, Tammara Brown and Sarah Eliason, our Walk Committee and Chapter Members, Alex Brown and Matt Burn and our Chapter President, Jim Huber.Also thank you so much to our sponsors: Moran Eye Center, 1-800 Contacts, The Eye Institute of Uta, and Skin Care Holistic Beauty Practice. Also, we want to thank our in-kind donors, Starbuck’s Coffee, Einsteins Bagels, Target, Reams Grocery, School of Rock, and Mariah Unruh. We also could not have had such a wonderful walk day without the support of all of teams, walkers and volunteers! Congratulations to our top five fundraising teams: Walkin’ Utes, Moran Momentum, Retinal Hogs, Monster Truck, and Blue Elephants. Congratulations to our top fundraising individual, Tammara Brown of the Walkin’ Utes. And congratulations to our “Best T-shirt” contest winner – Bryce’s Buddies screaming the loudest!
