San Jose, CA - Ultimate Fantasy Hockey Playoffs

The San Jose Ultimate Fantasy Hockey Playoffs draft took place on April 7, 2008 at The Grill located inside of HP Pavilion.

The San Jose Sharks partnered once again with Foundation Fighting Blindness to host The San Jose Ultimate Fantasy Hockey Playoffs! This is year over $23,000 was raised in order to help fight retinal degenerative diseases. Nearly $5,000 of that came from a silent auction in which some of The Sharks themselves, signed jerseys, sticks and photos to donate to the cause. The Sharks President and CEO, Greg Jamison, made a guest appearance in order to present last year’s champions, The Ice Doctors, with the Gund Cup. It was a fun-filled night of drafting, trading and secret strategy so much so that no one even noticed the NCAA Championship game!

The draft would not have been possible with out the hard work and dedication of co-chairs, Linda MacLeod and Dan Rusanowsky, voice of the San Jose Sharks.
