David Hunt, Ph.D.
|
Professor David Hunt is Professor of Molecular Genetics with research interests in visual pigments and inherited eye diseases. The latter research focuses on an understanding of the causes of inherited eye diseases that primarily affect the retina. The identification of the genes involved, and an understanding of how they cause inherited retinal disease, benefits families through genetic counselling and helps researchers in their search for new potential treatments such as gene therapy. |
