Another year has passed, and the New York City chapter has continued to grow.  At Visions 2011, FFB recognized us with the Chapter of the Year award for our efforts in support of the Foundation’s mission; and thanks to your activism, I was recognized as the Northeast’s Volunteer of the Year award at Visions 2012.

Greenpoint Gazette Highlights New NYC VisionWalk All Star

Yvonne and Angelina Romero

Angelina (right) with her mom, Yvonne.

Angelina Romero, a 2013 New York City VisionWalk participant, was highlighted in the Greenpoint Gazette for her outstanding fundraising efforts. She is currently walking on team, Yvonne’s Eyes, named after her mother who is affected with macular degeneration. So far, Angelina has raised more than $1,500 for this year’s VisionWalk! Congratulations, Angelina on your great accomplishments!
