VisionWalk Update:
Congratulations Indianapolis VisionWalkers!
We had a great walk day on Saturday, September 29th! Over 800 walkers joined us a beautiful, sunny day. We brought over $17,000 in on the day of the walk, which will put our total raised to over $72,000! That means we only have $13,000 more to raise to achieve our $85,000 goal! Read More...

Chapter Meetings and Events:
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday, April 13 for our Indianapolis Chapter Speaker Series Presentation & VisionWalk Organizing Reception. Guests enjoyed a Panel Discussion on Strategies for Success led by physical therapist Tina Lubarsky, businessman Christian Mauer, mother of four Kassie Morgan, and business owner Mike Schmidt. The group discussed how they cope with vision loss in a way that leads to a happy, healthy and successful life.
We also heard from Kevin Spencer, Service Technician at Bell Techlogix, who discussed and demonstrated today’s newest technology and tools for the visually impaired. In particular, Kevin presented on how the Apple iPhone and iPad can work for people with little or no sight.

Gil & Jeanne Iames got involved with the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) in November 2011 when their son, Joe, was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), a congenital, degenerative eye disease.
