We so love this walk event for the benefit of the Foundation’s mission to supply funding for research to delay, treat and reverse blindness using advanced research techniques in modern clinical trials. The VisionWalk donations help to advance even more scientists to our goals to treat blindness now.

VisionWalk Update:
The 5th Annual San Diego VisionWalk was an absolute success with a record number of walkers and the support for the 5th Annual San Diego VisionWalk was outstanding. We had 31 fantastic teams participate in this year's VisionWalk to help the Foundation Fighting Blindness raise over $115,000 (and counting) for critical retinal degenerative disease research. Fifteen years ago, when he was still in college, Ralph Charles Mora, otherwise known as “R.C.,” knew something was wrong with his vision. “It wouldn’t be strange to put my hand on somebody’s shoulder, for guidance, especially at parties, because otherwise I’d knock into people,” the San Diego-area native recalls. “If my friends felt a hand on the shoulder, they knew it was me. Emily was the same.”
