• I am 38. I just found out I have this disease a couple months ago. I have gone to 2 different specialists and they both said the same thing. I wish I knew how long I have before my sight starts to go. Anyone have any ideas? My sight is still pretty good I have a hard time seeing at night to drive. Thanks

  I am 34 and was just diagnosed as well. I do have a 12-year older brother with the disease who was also diagnosed around my age. Currently I believe he is now at 20/60 and 20/150. He said it was gradual until he hit 20/40. I have an appointment with the doctor in 3 weeks, but am not expecting them to be able to give me any concrete answers.
