• I think it will be a long time until we hear how the trials are going. My Retinal Specialist said that some of her patients are involved in a trial on new vitamins for slowing down the progression of macular degeneration. She said that they have been doing the trial for 5 years and the company running the trial have not released any information on whether it's working or how the trial is going. She expects that the Stargardt's test will be the same. All my doctors have said not to expect any cure for at least 10 years. Hopefully it will come early!!!
