• Hello,
  I am 27 years old and was diagnosed with RP at the age of 24 right after i had my first child. My vision declined during pregnancy and i am concerned that another pregnancy would do the same thing. Has anyone else had the same problem? My specialist says there is no research to link pregnancy and the progression of the disease, but im not too sure.

  I am 40 years old and have been recently diagnosed with cone rod dystrophy, for 14 years it was only cone dystrophy and had barely changed but in the last 3 years has deteriorated my peripheral vision. I see fine in the dark and have no vision loss in my centre. My specialist said that it was common in his research that the change comes out after pregnancy according to many women he has talked to.
