• I'm 23 and already am pretty much nightblind. I'm glad everyone on here is pretty hopeful but I am hopeless. I don't want to do anything anymore because what's the point if i'm just going to lose my vision anyway? Why continue going to school when i wont be able to utilize my degree anymore? it's great that there's so much research going on but at the end of the day that's all we have. research and conflicting recommendations because nobody really knows anything.
  
  this is a the equivalent of a death sentence for me. i commend everyone on here who is aggressive and positive, but after almost losing my right eye from an unrelated accident and enduring 12 years of surgeries, i don't have anymore fight left in me; especially when there's no real concrete cure on the immediate horizon.

  a month ago...vision has been getting worse the last 6 months...my first time on this site, no pun

• I am a student and I worried also about my career after I graduate from college with my degree in social work, which I do not have long now. I also find myself thinking about helping others to get throught Rp with getting acceptance, since my major is social work this is the stage I am in. At times I find myself in tears, but I known that I do not want to be miserable and blind, which may take years. I am still driving in College and travel every year with my school refund during school brea. I had rp since 2004, but was not diag unit 2012 that is a slow process with the vitamins and fish oils and leutin. do not quit and give Rp power over you(smile) just remenber Alcohol do not mix with rp I know this from my brother who has Rp to. I have been sober for 14 years.
