• I was wonering if anyone knew of the bioni eye treatment they have for rp. I was diagnosed with rp when I was 10 years old. It's been almost 10 years now that I've been living with it. Nobody has been able to tell me anything about it including doctors

• Hi, my name is Michelle and I have RP also. I will be 37 next week and have had RP for 10 years also. I live in Maryland and go to the eye institute at the National Institutes of Health where I am on a study for RP and the doctor told me about the biotic retina when I was at NIH in June. They are starting with people who are almost blind (know this for a fact this I was told my vsion which is 20/200 is better than the biotic retina). The dcotor did tell me that they are working every day to improve this so it will work for everyone. Keep praying they will come up with a cure for us. I would be very happy to have a normal life again where I could drive/work/date/have kids, but can't due to my vision.
