• I've received an ad for the OkuVision OkuStim system, which purports to slow the progression of RP. the German site has all the earmarks of snake oil. They claim to have had a successful clinical trial, but to get to any link for scientific information you must resgister as a doctor or a retailer. I doubt they have actually had any properly per-reviewed publications or controlled trilas, but there's no way to tell from their site. Does anyone have further information? Of course, their product is not available in the US.

• hi. i myself don't have rp but i know of okuvision from a convention that i attended with my friend. when i talked to them and also asked about proof they mentioned a study. they said they cannot give it to me directly because in germany there is a law that for companies it is not allowed to use publications with medical terms to be used as advertising material for patients if those medical terms are not explained in a way that it is understandable for everybody. but they gave me a flyer that provides the exact title of the study and says that it was published in iovs. so it was easy to find this study on the internet then.
