• Dr. Per Otte Micro acupuncture

• I am 39yo with RP. I am considering micro acupuncture for treatment. I spoke with Dr. Otte to discuss treatment, nutrition etc....Dr. Otte told me that the Foundation for Fighting Blindness is going to interview him. As he put it "the FFB is coming to see me in March".
  So, I tried to contact the FFB to confirm or deny his statement. I tried several times via the automated system with no luck. Can you help me or know someone who can help me verify this information. Thank you in advance.

• Wish I knew... It does sound promising- I think we need some more comments from people who have tried it on this thread! I you do get treatment please keep us posted on your experience!

• yes, I am a patient of Dr. Otte. I have been recieving these Micro-Acupuncture treatments for 2 years. I totally know first hand, THEY WORK. I have been able to maintain my independence while recieving these treatments, including driving.I left a message on this message board when I came back home after having a week of treatments. They worked then and they are still working. They may work differently for each person, but know one would know until they try it. Good Luck to all.

• Hi. I am 52 yrs old with dominant RP... still drive during the day, but not at night. I spoke with Dr. Otte and am encouraged but skeptical. I can't help wonder why this isn't encouraged by opthamologists or in the news more? How often do you go and how long do you stay? Any hotel suggestions? I am seriously considering it. Would love to chat more with you about it if you're willing.
