• I've had cataracts in both eyes removed. Not so sure how much it helped!!! B/C of the RP I didn't notice my vision improve, the cataract can take over the little vision you have. You should get them out in my opinion. Linda from Ga.

  I have, a number of years ago. Just in one eye. No real benefit with respect to the RP and if you read a lot—I'm an academic—there will be a substantive change in how you negotiate the world. Just think through all of your options. IO suspect whether to go forward depends on many variables. I am waiting to do the second until I really need to do it. Chip from NJ.
