• Good retina doc in Seattle area?

  I'm looking for a recommendation to a good retina doc in the Seattle (or eastside) area. I have RP and perhaps Usher's and it's been many years since I've seen someone, so not sure who is considered the best these days. I've also asked my optometrist and am awaiting an answer but figured I'd also ask here as well. Thanks much!

• You shoudl try the University of Washington. To be honest, if you can get down to Portlan and get to Casey Eye Institute and see Dr. Weleber then that would be best. I've known him for nearly 30 years and is one of the best in the world. He can actually tell you if it's RP and hearing loss or if it's actually Usher. Just because one has RP and hearin gloss it doesn't necessarily mean you have Usher.
