- It's a hoax and even could be detrimental to RP. Just look it up in www.pubmed.gov. You'll see that both Drs. Weleber and Berson (both respected ophthalmologists who are FFB researchers) find this "false hope."

- To be honest, I don't know. But my suspicion is that these are a big hoax. If there were any validity here, then it would be wide spread. But it's like the claims of Russia finding a cure for RP (which is old news and has been that "claim" since the 70's to this Oxygen treatment in Cuba, etc).
The key is, understanding what has been looked into. Many of these so called "cures" are just retrofits of past claims that people have debunked. It never ceases to amaze me how hard people try to sell their "cure" under a different name and each time people fall for these schemes.
