  Do you know if this drug Fluoxetine has any known side effects that could harm my vision or progress my rp faster?

• I know what Fluoxetine is but I won't say it. It can. Have you talked to your pharmacist about this? They shoudl have access to what types of things to look for if it affects yoru eyes. But the list I saw were infrequent side-effects such as dry eyes but can produce some serious conditions like glaucoma and visual field loss but to what extent I don't know. The page didn't say. That's the best way to find out is talk to the pharmasict since they have a wide range of reference material to look into this.

• One thing I forgot to mention is that people need to evaluate the risk-benefit ratio when taking a drug. Are the benefits better than the side-effects? That comes along with people who have Diamox. The tingling and taste bud screw up can really be a pain. But if the CME is being cleared up then the benefit would be there since you value vision (no matter how little).
  
  With Fluoxetine it can be a little different because you are evaluating your whole being. The side effects on the eyes may be nothing compared to the benefit you are getting out of this medication. Does that make sense?
