  • Hamza,

I guess all of us have had annoying floaters, and they are usually of no real consequence. However, one large floater is sometimes the result of PVD (posterior vitreous detachment) where the vitreous separates from the retina in an older person (usually after 50). This is perfectly normal and the result of aging. The symptom in some people, is one large floater. It will gradually fade away out of vision most of the time. That is why it is important to keep those eye specialist appointments with your doctor to check it all out. Hope this helps.
