• Hi,
  I am studying to be an adaptive physical education teacher and right now I am working on a research paper on RP. I have the basic information on what RP is but I am looking for more in depth information such as physical characteristics, social/emotional characteristics, and cognitive characteristics. Also what activities would or woulnd't be beneficial for an individual with RP. Can anyone possibly help me out with informative sources to find this information? That would great if you could.

  Hopefully you have looked this web site over from top to bottom. It actually will have all the info you will need. I think that one size doesn't fit all when it comes to this problem. When I was in school I actually didn't need any assistance, and even today I need very little. I just can't drive and have to be a bit careful when in public, cause I tend to bump into things or if I am not watching I trip on curbs etc. I think you will find that rp is wide open and you can start with addaptive coaching and go from there, actually one of the good things for me has been that in my life the changes have been subtle so I have been able to addapt easily over time. I am not sure if any one could have helped me through this or not. It was more important to me to know that if I needed help my family and freinds were always ready to help me.
