• My mother experiences what she calls "rain" falling down in front of her eyes. Does anyone else experience that and do you know the cause of this?

• I'm not sure if it is the same thing, but my doctor once told me that I had floaters and this sometime looks like spots floating in front of me, I believe in most cases this is proteins that have formed "globs", I also think that non rp patients can get these. The other thing that your mom might be talking about is the flashes of light I sometimes get, for me they are like an electrical storm around the furthests parts of my vision. It happens mostly when I am going from light to dark places or if I am really tired and trying to focus on something like the computer screen. I hope this helps, I know it is not very technical but I am not sure that all with this condition is. I think that affects each person in a very unique way, some things are common but each of us sees or experiences things differently...good luck Kim
