  • anti-glare coating

  • Does anyone have the anti-glare coating on their glasses or sunglasses? I'm curious as to how you like it or dislike it? I have it on my regular glasses and really don't seem to notice a difference. It is more expensive to have it added to your glasses. And it scratches more easily. I'm thinking about getting new prescription sunglasses and was wondering if I should pay the extra to get it.

  • Mary,

I felt the way you do so I got them without the coating one time and ended up having to take them back because the glare was so bad without the coating. The "cheaper" non-g;are coating does scratch. I can't remember the name of the one I get, but it doesn't scratch easily. It is supposed to be the most durable one on the market. Check with your optometrist and they can help you.
