• Anyone have any updates on the CNTF study? Any problems or improvements?

  I have not posted anything yet since I have not had my six month app. yet ( 2 more weeks ) and so far there are good and bad news. Good news is my central vision has improved from 20/30 to 20/15 and it seems that CNTF DOES have a positive effect on the cones. Bad news is a lot of the participants ( like me ) have had an abnormal pupil constriction affecting night vision and even peripheral vision. So....so far
  it SEEMS CNTF MAY benefit the cones but not the rods, but of course this is only speculation since more time is needed to complete the study.
