• I just finished my first year of disablitie payments from social secrutiy and was wondering , do they send me a w-2 tax information so i can file my federal taxes? started gettinbg my 1st check in july last year. so only have 6 monthes ,

• You'll get a Form SSA-1099 any day now--if you haven't already.

• Natalie is correct. You'll get that SSA-1099 form soon. By federal law, all tax docutments are to be mailed by January 31st so there is still time left.
  
  Now, depending what your AGI is, will depend whether your SSDI will be taxable or not.
  
  If you are legally blind and do not do many itemized deductions then you may qualify for the blind deduction which is substantially greater than the standard deduction.
