  • Hello, does anyone know a good online site to buy the cane/stick. I had a fiberglass one that got broke about 15 inches off , and i had a folding alumimum can that the elastic just broke .
Heard they also make it in grafite. which is better the grafite or fiberglass?

  • My mobility instructor gave me a couple of catalogs to view that have a lot of useful aides in them including the canes.
    the website addresses are
    www.LLSproducts.com
    and
    www.MaxiAids.com
    Hope this helps.

  • Hi,

Both our daughter and my husband use a cane, depending on the situation. I've found that Ambutech in Canada has a pretty good selection www.ambutech.com. Graphite seems better because they are lighter. Ambutech can make canes in any color. My husband has a black one and our daughter a pink one. There's some controversy about this, but I say if the only way a person who needs a cane will use one is if it isn't white, then I'd rather see the person safe.
