• Stem cell research for AMD

• Prof Coffey from the London Project to Cure Blindness gave a public lecture at University College London on 4th Dec 08. The project is developing a cellular therapy using stem cells to regenerate and restore vision in wet and dry AMD patients. Clinical trials are planned for 2010-2011.

• I could not view the lecture and the latest lecture on the other site is 4 De 2008, so I suggest you wait until it is released to the site.
  Having talked with the Proffessor I am sure it will be worth while to watch.
