• I am glad I have found this site. My mother is in a state of panic after developing Wet Macular Degeneration in one eye about 6 months ago.
  The other eye was rendered blind by Glaucoma a few years ago so she is running out of eyes!
  She has had 3 Avistan shots and she says her vision is worse now even though the doc says the blood is nearly all gone from her eye.
  Can it make your vision worse? The docs here are a closed society and give almost no REAL info to anyone, especially elderly.
  Aslo, is Lucentis the same as Avistan but a with a different trade name? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
