• Macular Degeneration Hope

• Hello to everyone. I was diagnosed with wet macular degeneration in on eye 2 years ago aged 27. My specialist has treated it with PDT. I still have 20/30 vision and need glasses to drive at night. I am lucky because the bleed happened on the outer edge of the macular. I suspect the bleed happened because I had been smoking weed and woke up the next morning with it.
  6 months ago i noticed my left eye had a blurry spot right in the middle so I decided that I would try alternative treatments. I started on a raw food diet and also started taking some eye specific vitamins. I am obese and generally mistreated my body. Within 10 days the blurry spot on my left eye had disappered and has not returned. My other eye has increased by one line on the eye chart according to the doc's. I have returned to my previously unhealthy lifestyle and will be restarting tomorrow on a proper raw food diet. I will let you know how i do as I am determined to fix my eyes.
