• i was recently diagnosed with wet amd.the rs said the only thing that would help is avastin or lucentis.he gave me my choice of either one.i'm having a hard time working up my courage to be injected in the eye once a month.anyone have any input on what to expect? he didn't have much to say when i asked him.

• get it done asap very little pain i almost waited to long and have ni vision in the left eye but avascion saved my right eye had 6 shoots in 2006 and none meeeded in 2007 i was at the docs last week no bleeding thank god for avascion befor lucentis

• Thanks for the insight.I had my 1st shot last week and it wasn't bad at all.The anxiety is the worst.

• glad to hear you had the injection.it will help i now that.you may get some vision back
