Description
YOU’RE INVITED TO THE KANSAS CITY CHAPTER MEETING WITH GUEST SPEAKER DR. JOHANN OHLY AND THE VISIONWALK ORGANIZING RECEPTION
The Foundation Fighting Blindness invites you to the Kansas City Chapter meeting for a special presentation, “The Doctor is In,” with guest speaker Johann Ohly, M.D., from the Silverstein Eye Center.
Dr. Ohly specializes in glaucoma diagnosis and medical, laser, and surgical treatments for glaucoma. He also performs micro-incision cataract surgery. Dr. Ohly received his ophthalmology training at Loyola University Medical Center and Hines Veterans Administration Hospital, and is well-versed in the areas of macular degeneration and retinitis pigmentosa.
There will be a question-and-answer session to follow “The Doctor is In,” then a fun presentation on assistive kitchen equipment for the visually impaired.
Following the presentations, we will launch the 3rd Annual Kansas City VisionWalk with an exciting organizing reception. We will be happy to answer any of your questions about VisionWalk and the Foundation.
You won’t want to miss it!
Light refreshments will be provided.
Attendance is free but seating is limited. Please RSVP by November 13, 2009 to Cynthia Zimmerman at 866-782-7330 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
