Welcome to the Atlanta Chapter of FFB! Our goal as chapter leaders is to provide education and support for people with retinal degenerative diseases. VisionWalk Update:
Thanks to everyone who joined us for the 7th Annual Atlanta VisionWalk! It was cold and muddy, but that didn’t keep almost 600 walkers from gathering at Piedmont Park. It is not too late to help us reach our Atlanta VisionWalk goal of $145,000. VisionWalk season does not end until June 30th. To donate, please visit the Atlanta VisionWalk website. Featured Volunteer:
 Patti Pruitt, a forever friend of FFB, Atlanta Chapter board member and past co-chair of the Atlanta Blind Wine Tasting, along with her wonderful husband Tony, made it a mission to identify a beauty spa and paramedic aesthetician in every major city throughout the United States to offer discounts on make-up services for their visually impaired clients. Patti, who is affected by RP, has worked diligently on this project and women all over the country are benefitting from her sensitivity and determination.

Congratulations to the Atlanta Chapter for receiving the Outstanding Chapter Award for 2013! The award will be presented at our VISIONS Conference during the dinner program on Saturday night.
I want you to know that when we discuss chapters with volunteers in other markets or with staff across the country, Atlanta is always a model we point to. You are a true example of how just a few people can accomplish great things! Congratulations to each of you! You are amazing and we (FFB) are so proud of you and thankful for all you do!
