October Is: SAVE YOUR VISION MONTH

Educating the SYVM Community

Educating Foundation members and the general public about retinal diseases, as well as preserving healthy vision, is an important part in the fight against blindness. Here are some educational efforts, resources and tips to share during Save Your Vision Month.

Look and Listen: Public Service Announcements (PSAs)

These new print PSAs will start popping up in national and regional magazines to encourage readers to get informed about age-related macular degeneration (AMD)—the leading cause of blindness in Americans 55 and older. Check them out!
