VISIONS 2011 Guests connect
at a Meet & Mingle Session
|
We are excited to announce that VISIONS, our national conference created for individuals and families affected by retinal diseases, will return June 28 – July 1, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis! We received an overwhelmingly positive response from those who attended the 2011 conference, and we are striving to make VISIONS 2012 even better. Here’s what we’ve added this year:
Extended Exhibit Hall Hours
We want to give as much time as possible to browse the wonderful products and services our exhibitors have to offer. At VISIONS 2012, the Exhibit Hall will open immediately following Friday’s Opening Luncheon at 2:15 p.m.
Beginner & Advanced Level Sessions
We realize that some of you who have attended a VISIONS conference in the past may be ready for science sessions that go a little deeper. VISIONS 2012 will offer select sessions at beginner and advanced levels, so there’s something new for everyone.
More for Adolescents & Young Adults
This year, we’ll provide sessions geared specifically toward adolescents and young adults who are living and coping with a retinal disease.
More Networking Sessions
In 2012, we will hold another series of networking sessions at the start of the conference on Friday morning to give attendees a chance to meet and mingle with the people they’ll be getting to know over the weekend.
Closing Session on Sunday Morning
We’re adding a general session to the schedule on Sunday morning to close out the conference. You can expect this session to contain some of the most valuable research information and an uplifting message to take home with you.
Mall of America Bus Trip
Most of your time during the VISIONS conference is spent in sessions and other conference functions. So, we’re organizing a Mall of America bus trip for Thursday evening, so attendees get a chance to see Minneapolis and one of its biggest attractions!
